The Via-T device lets you pay for and pass through tolls without having to stop. You just need to have your device placed on your windscreen or in the Bip&Drive-approved wristband for motorcyclists to go through the lane signposted as Via-T or Telepeaje.
When a vehicle with Via-T passes through the lane, an antenna detects its presence. The device beeps and the barrier goes up for you to pass through. The maximum authorised speed to pass through the toll barrier is 30 km/h. At a higher speed, you run the risk of the barrier not having time to open.
Vehicles fitted with a Bip&Drive Via-T device can drive on the roads and motorways in Spain, France and Portugal which have toll booths with electronic payment systems, known as Vía-T in Spain, Liber-t in France and Vía Verde in Portugal.
Your Via-T works without top-ups or balances and its battery lasts for five years. When it runs out, we'll send you a new one for free.

1. Clean the glass with the wipe provided
2. Install the device holder on the glass of the windscreen, just behind your rear view mirror.
3. Remove the backing paper from the adhesive on the decive holder.
4. Install by pressing the holder lightly against the glass until it is fixed in place firmly.
5. Don´t throw away the box! You can use it to inhibit the signal of your device. Keep it inside in case you don´t wan´t to use it.

Some car models are equipped with athermic windscreens that prevent proper communications between the transponder and the beacon at the tollbooth. There is a shadow area on the upper central part of the windscreen, just above the rear view mirror, where the device will work.
